I saw In The Heights a few years ago, as a graduation present from my friend’s mom. I really liked it then. The guy who wrote it, loosely dedicated it to some girl from my building, who he married last year. Anyway, that’s not relevant. My little brother is nearly obsessed with the guy who wrote/stared in it: Lin Manuel-Miranda. He met him a few weeks ago, and then coincidentally, I ran into him at a bar and had a short convo with him. He was nice. But, now I’m like obsessed with all his work. His freestyles are awesome, it’s all I’ve been listening to lately. I love real talent. And, him being from Washington Heights makes it even cooler.
